These days you won’t find me doing many portait sessions, I’m mostly taking pictures of people’s bones… but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph an engagement session for one of my dear friend’s. Erik & Lindsay wanted a country feel to their photographs, and I think we accomplished just that! Now on to the photos….
Every year we try to photograph my nephew and neice, this year we did our annual family portrait session in downtown Half Moon Bay. It’s amazing how fast these kiddos are growing!
Here are a few of my favorites….
Like father, like son!
1 gorgeous day + 3 beautiful locations + 1 cute couple = one happy photographer! Last weekend Stuart and Jordan tied the knot! They had a heartfelt ceremony and a garden reception in Yountville. Surrounded by their closest friends and relatives, you could feel the love in the air! Now on to the photos….
Their ceremony was held at Yountville community Church
I love it how couples keep traditions, or bring their heritage into their weddings, so I thought it was especially neat that Stuart and his groomsmen wore kilts.
Stuart and Jordan are a very fun couple, so they didn’t hesitate when I asked them for this shot!… LOVE IT!
Then we were off to Peju Winery for some special portraits of the bride and groom.
Very Romantic!
Their reception was at Brix restaurant in Yountville, which I absolutely LOVE! Their guests ate a gourmet dinner surrounded by a 360 degree view of blooming flowers.
a nice detail of the rings
Some great toasts!
And a cake fight to top it off….. it was a tough call to find a winner in this fight!
Congrats to Stuart and Jordan, and thank you for letting me be a part in your special day!
Cheers!
When Stuart & Jordan asked me to shoot their engagement session at Cornerstone Gardens, I knew we were off to a good start! I have been wanting to photograph a session there for quite some time. The colorful gardens and contemporary art were the perfect backdrop for this adorable couple! Here are a few favorites from the session.
On Saturday, I photographed the lovely Corallo girls! I have been fortunate to have photographed this lovely family every year for the past 3 years. I feel like I have watched little Maddie grow before my eyes from a little baby to this beautiful little girl.
Although this session was different from the sessions in the past, the difference being the first session without Tony, I feel we captured some sweet moments, and Maddie’s little spunky personality. I hope that these photos will grace the walls of their home and be the beginning of a new chapter for them both.
She loves her Mommy!
Little Ballerina!
Mommy can be REALLY funny!
On November 6th, Chris and Melissa said “I Do” at V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena. Chris and Melissa are a very sweet couple. They are always happy, smiling and very genuine. Their wedding was full of emotion, laughter, excitement and lots of fun. I was honored to capture their special day.
Here are a few of my favorites ….
The Beautiful bride……..
The handsome Groom……….
Their ceremony was beautiful with all the candles lit everywhere
A nice moment of prayer during the ceremony…..
Horray! now the celebration can begin!!!!
Some details of the reception in the barrel room……
On their grand entrance into the reception Chris and Melissa danced their way in and joined their family and friends on the dance floor……these two know how to get the party started!
There were some great toasts….And they danced the night away!
Congrats to Chris & Melissa!
Just in time for halloween I did a quick portrait session with Tatum at the pumpkin patch. I think he enjoyed it this year! I know I did. Here are a few of my favorites from that day……
I love this face…Doesn’t it just scream Mischeif??
I think he said….. “Mommy you’re really funny!”
Tatum the dinosaur… Raaeerrrr!
The Ewig family welcomed a baby girl, Zoe to the family. I felt priveliged to do her first photo shoot!
What an adorable little bundle!
And Proud big sister!!
Sometimes the best photos are the ones that are unplanned like this one…. as she gives new baby a kiss.
Welcome sweet baby Zoe!
